Unli Disk User Guide

How to navigate the Visual Disk Map, clear Developer build artifacts, and sweep your Photo Library.

1. Visual Disk Map

Click Choose Disk… to grant access to your Macintosh HD volume or specific folders. Unli Disk presents an interactive disk-proportioned treemap showing exactly where your storage is allocated, with real disk measurements and zero inflated numbers.

2. Developer & System Reclaim

Select category chips (Xcode Simulators, DerivedData, Swift Build Caches, Package Caches, Git Leftovers). Click Reclaim Space to clean up unnecessary build artifacts safely to Trash.

3. Photo Library Sweep & Instant Viewer

Switch to the Photo Library tab to surface large videos and photos biggest-first. Features include:

  • Immediate Previews: Previews open immediately from the still Photos has already cached on this Mac — no loading spinner for photos, Live Photos, or iCloud videos.
  • Trackpad Pinch-to-Zoom: Pinch up to 5x magnification or double-click to toggle 1x and 2.5x zoom.
  • Heart & Select Modes: Double-click to heart/keep in Heart mode, or switch to Select mode for multi-item deletions and album filing.
  • Monthly Cohorts: Filter by calendar month to make sweeping large libraries manageable.

4. ClearSpace Pro for iPhone Included

Your Unli Disk purchase automatically unlocks Lifetime Pro in ClearSpace on your iPhone via iCloud when signed in with the same Apple Account.

5. Safe Recovery

All deletions move items safely: files go to macOS Finder Trash until emptied, and photos go to Apple Photos Recently Deleted where they remain for up to 30 days.
