How does Unli Disk measure disk space?
Unli Disk scans your Macintosh HD volume or selected folders directly, mapping files by exact byte count into an interactive treemap. It never inflates numbers or invents synthetic "junk" categories.
Are deletions safe?
Yes. Unli Disk moves deleted files to macOS Finder Trash or Apple Photos Recently Deleted. Nothing is permanently erased immediately: files remain in Finder Trash until you empty it, while photos stay in Photos' Recently Deleted for up to 30 days.
What is Developer Reclaim?
Unli Disk identifies developer build data that general tools ignore — Xcode DerivedData, build caches, simulator runtimes, Package caches, and orphaned git objects.
Does Unli Disk upload my photos or data?
No. Unli Disk runs 100% on-device. Your metadata, photos, and file indexes never leave your Mac.
