Privacy Policy

The short version

ClearSpace collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no trackers, and no server this app talks to. Every photo it sizes, sorts, hearts, files into an album, or deletes is handled on your device, through Apple's own Photos framework, and never leaves it. This matches the app's own privacy manifest, submitted to Apple with every build.

What we don't collect

• Photos — never uploaded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. All sizing and sorting happens locally.
• Personal information — no name, email, or contact details, unless you choose to email us for support.
• Location — not collected or read.
• Usage analytics — ClearSpace has no analytics SDK of any kind, first-party or third-party. We cannot see how you use the app, and we don't try to.
• Advertising identifiers — not read. ClearSpace carries no ads and no ad framework.

Photo privacy

Organising, hearting, filing into albums, and deleting all happen locally through Apple's PhotoKit. The app only reads what you explicitly interact with, and nothing about your library is transmitted or stored outside it.

Purchases

Clearing photos in large batches is unlocked by a one-time in-app purchase, handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details — Apple processes the transaction and tells ClearSpace only whether it succeeded.

Data sharing

There is nothing of yours to share, because nothing is collected. The only party involved at all is Apple, for purchase processing and for delivering the app itself.

Data retention

Your preferences — sort order, filters, whether an album has been used before — are stored only in the app on your own device, the same way any iOS app remembers a setting. Removing the app removes them.

Children's privacy

ClearSpace is not directed at children under 13, and since it collects no personal information from anyone, none is collected from them either.

Your rights

• Nothing to access or export — we hold no data about you to hand over.
• Delete — removing the app removes every local preference it kept.
• Photos permission — grant or revoke at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

Third-party services

ClearSpace uses Apple's PhotoKit for photo library access and StoreKit for the one in-app purchase. Nothing else. iCloud is only ever involved insofar as your own Apple Account already syncs your library — ClearSpace does not add or change any iCloud sync of its own.

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes — for instance, if a future version adds analytics or a network feature — that change will be reflected here first, and called out in the App Store release notes.
